Northern Technology Inc pays for the advertisements, drug screening and relocation expenses, as well as spends the time and money for interviewing and reference checking the candidates. We will help you define the skills necessary to complete your project and then quickly identify employees who are qualified to meet your needs. We have developed procedures of selecting our consultants which represent our recruiting processing.

Extensive Candidate Screening

NTI prides itself on completing an extensive interview to determine the validity of a candidate's claim to technical and non-technical work skills. A candidate may go through multiple interviews internally at NTI as well as client interviews before a candidate will be hired. Some interviews are highly technical, and some are more toward finding the candidate’s personality, work attitude, and inter-person communication skills. This is extremely important to make sure our client's needs and expectations are being met. NTI requires that all applicants provide our technical recruiters with at least 3 past job references. We normally require 5 past job references. We contact previous employers to verify employment information before any applicant is hired. NTI performs off-site drug testing for all of our applicants. NTI requires all degreed applicants to provide transcripts upon hiring. We also require our employees to submit copies of all of the technical certifications, degrees to verify their technical background. We want our employees to share our company goals and requirements. We will do intensive orientation for all of our new employees. It is important for our employees to know our mission, our principles, our history, our commitment, and our desire to serve our clients to the fullest. At NTI we realize that on-going training is a valuable part of our employees' career development. We support continued training programs that are related to your specific job. Training is given to our employees to keep their technical skills up-to-date with the latest technology. Newly hired employees may be required to attend certain training programs either within NTI or through an outside company. For our employees, we provide continued education assistance and tuition reimbursement to keep their knowledge up-to-date with the latest technologies. The Consultant is subject to performance review which is conducted quarterly and annually. An exit interview must be conducted with all Workers upon completion employment with employees who voluntarily terminate their assignment. Employee
suggestion will be considered seriously to improve NTI’s business systems. |
